                                                                                                                                          Mission Statement

        It is the goal of this journal to provide a worldly audience with free means in the collection and dissemination of information on the region that encompasses Central Europe today. Through an interdisciplinary method, the editorial board seeks to enlarge the already considerable body of research and literature on Central Europe. It is through this sense of duty that the board seeks to provide scholars with an opportunity to publish their research in a peer-reviewed journal available to the global community through the internet.                   

• PRAVO endeavours to:

  1. Provide an academic environment that is fair, balanced, supportive, and enhanced by the views and direction shared by the journal's member community;

  2. Provide an academic atmosphere that will serve the interests of academic researchers and private citizens, while producing publishing experience and access to contemporary research for emerging scholars;

  3. Promote the study of Central Europe and its ethnic diaspora in North America through the publication of articles and the organization of academic conferences.

  4. Support the formation of new approaches in research and publication by an expansion of past and present interpretations and perceptions in the study of Central Europe.

   

  CODE OF CONDUCT/TRANSPARENCY

  As a student-based online journal, PRAVO is dedicated to broadening scholarship on Central European issues. As such, the journal seeks academic articles from graduate students, professionals, academics, and private enthusiasts. PRAVO does not charge for submissions or for publication. However, there is a charge for access to past articles in previous issues. In order to submit a paper to the journal, please follow the submission guidelines and the requirements of the call for papers.

  PRAVO only accepts submissions by email.

  Once your article is received, it is verified according to the submission guidelines. If there are no issues, then it is sent to an anonymous reviewer. This reviewer will not be privy to the author's personal information. Nor will the author know of the reviewer's identity. If the article requires editing, then the journal informs the author. If no corrections are needed, the article is considered for publication in the next possible issue - time and space permitting.
